QUESTIONING AUTHORITY
The viewpoints on this page do not necessarily reflect the views of any specific institution, whether or not e-link listed in this site We will question environmental prognostications of gloom and doom. We question the authority of the federal and state supreme courts as final arbiter of the law. Why should not legislatures assert their perogatives in these matters? We question the scope of government and the usurpation of power into the non-responsive gov't bodies: local state, federal and international regulatory agencies.
We believe in limited government, parental rights especially in the areas of discipline and school choice) the gift of life for everyone (unborn, sick and dying). We defend the Boy Scouts of America, their right of free association, and their right to uphold morally straight behavior in their non-sectarian organization.
When Pacifists Object to War on Terror What to do if you fall into a conversation with someone about the terrorist attacks who doesn't believe in retaliation:
1. Engage in conversation, and ask if military force is appropriate.
2. When he says "No," ask, "Why not?"
3. Wait until he says something to the effect of - "Because that would just cause more innocent deaths, which would be awful and we should not cause more violence."
4. When he's in mid sentence, punch him in the face as hard as you can.
5. When he gets back up to punch you, point out that it would be a mistake and contrary to his values to strike you, because that would be awful and he should not cause more violence.
6. Wait until he agrees, and has pledged not to commit additional violence.
7. Punch him in the face again, harder this time.
Repeat steps 5 through 8 until he understands that sometimes it is necessary to punch back.
PARENTAL RIGHTS guarantee needed (this letter wassent to the following in the early 200's when they were serving and/or alive!):
Dear U.S. Senator Peter Fitzgerald and U.S. Representative Henry Hyde:
I was the Boy Scout Adult Leader that met you both (seperately) at the Wheaton 4th of July Parade.
I thanked you both for representating us and voting the way you have in Washington, D.C.
Touching on one subject in my conversation with Senator Fitzgerald was the BSA Policy upholding "MORALLY STRAIGHT" as one of our tenets in our non-denominational (but reverent) private organization.
I thanked the Senator for his vote (and I'm sure that you, Mr. Hyde did the same in the House) forbidding school districts from punishing the BSA for not kowtowing to the latest mass hysteria hitting civilization: fixation on homosexuality, politizing of same).
However, I believe there is ONE SOLUTION TO MUCH OF THE (A)IMMORAL AGENDA PUSHED ON US:
- - - - - - - - - - - I ask both of you to consider sponsoring the following:
AN AMENDMENT TO THE U.S. CONSTITUTION
Stating the following:
"No law, no treaty, no organization shall be allowed to adbridge or contradict the inalienable rights of parents to train their children according to their moral dictates. Education is the right of every child, but education can NOT be used to proselytize the child against their upbringing by their parents. The right-to-PHYSICAL-life of the "viable"*child canNOT be abridged by the parent."
(*Although I strongly believe in pro-life and amendment for this, I don't want this ammendment to be subject to a pro-life/pro-abortion debate).
(I use the term "Physical-Life, so no one can use the term "right-to-life" as a means to abrogate parental rights in the areas of moral-life, educational-life, spiritual-life, etc).
(Education of the child, while not found in the Constitution, is the means of allowing the child to be independent once an adult.)
(We also need an amendment to protect our Amendment Rights in the Constitution against any treaty we enter).
[I wish I could e-mail you a copy of Russel Shaw's July column in the Knights of Columbus magazine, Columbia, concerning the UN and Parental Rights, and how the Bush administration seems to be pushing traditional family rights!]
If such an amendment was enacted, we can stop worrying about what the school districts are doing to brainwash our children. We still will have to worry about dumbing-down.
This will put an end to the NEA (leaders not members)'S push to proselytize the American children into "tolerating" homosexuality as normal.
This will put an end to alot of a/immoral proselytizing through schools. We can then just concentrate on fighting the media, and on energizing the Churches to preach morality,(including sexual purity as a top item).
As I await for such an amendment to be passed, please work to include such language protecting parental rights in any new laws and policy. Thank you!
Thank you again for your hard work, your representation in Congress, and your votes upholding MORALITY!
Yours truly, James E.Unger
Australian Gun Control Results are in! Ed Chenel, a police officer in Australia asked that this be circulated.
"Hi Yanks,
I thought you all would like to see the real figures from Down Under.
It has now been 12 months since gun owners in Australia were forced by a new law to surrender 640,381 personal firearms to be destroyed by our own government, a program costing Australia taxpayers more than million dollars.
The first year results are now in: Australia-wide, homicides are up 3.2 percent, Australia-wide, assaults are up 8.6 percent; Australia-wide, armed robberies are up 44 percent (yes, 44 percent!) In the state of Victoria alone, homicides with firearms are now up 300 percent. (Note that while the law-abiding citizens turned them in, the criminals did not and criminals still possess their guns!)
While figures over the previous 25 years showed a steady decrease in armed robbery with firearms, this has changed drastically upward in the past 12 months, since the criminals now are guaranteed that their prey is unarmed.
There has also been a dramatic increase in break-ins and assaults of the elderly. Australian politicians are at a loss to explain how public safety has decreased, after such monumental effort and expense was expended in "successfully ridding Australian society of guns."
You won't see this data on the American evening news or hear your governor or members of the state Assembly disseminating this information.
The Australian experience proves it. Guns in the hands of honest citizens save lives and property and, yes, gun-control laws affect only the law-abiding citizens.
Take note Americans, before it's to late.
